If you have suffered an accident as a result of a violent crime you may be entitled to compensation payment under
the CICA Scheme, run by the Government.
This scheme is public-funded and was established to administer compensation to the
victims of a crime of violence. How much compensation you receive is based on the scheme tariff. Injuries sustained must be
directly attributed to a crime or one of the allowable causes.
You don't have to pay anything! We only work on a 100% no–win no–fee basis!
You will receive 100% of your compensation!
The crime you are claiming for must be reported to the police. You cannot report the incident to other authorities instead
(such as employers of social workers). Additionally, you cannot excuse not reporting the crime to the police for fear of reprisals.
It is important that you co-operate with the police in bringing the offender to justice as if you don't your
application for a compensation award may be affected.
Note, you can still receive compensation if the offender is never found or convicted.
